" .....No, we don’t bond in the true sense of the word. We don’t hang out on weekends or make a concerted effort to spend quality time together, but are always there for each other. I still stay awake till they return from a party and make a dozen calls to find out if all is well at the party. I do try to add in a comment about their clothes they wear to the party.

I advise them to take their vitamins, ask them to drink water, cut down on the colas, say their prayers, study hard/further, choose wisely, save money for a rainy day, brush their teeth as the dentist advised, watch less TV, cut down Internet time and be careful about Face Book. But I’m not too sure as to how much of the old man’s advice they actually take because I am a trifle casual where the “follow up” is concerned. However, I love them dearly. After all, I am their father!
