News:

Readers' column- Gulf News

Look Within: I see many reports in which parents blame the media for spoilig thier children. What about the time when parents use abusive words in front of their children on the phone or on the road? Do they think that their children are naive and do not understand them? Or what about the time when a parent doesn't want to miss his/her favourite show not conisat of the content and whether their children are watching? These parents should stop blaming the media and watch their own behaviour. - Haroon Salem.

* Its an interesting visual, but it took a little time to register the craftmen at logo fine-tuning work.

3. Rasasi Ad (Full page)**

HD: If we don't pick them before sunrise, the price of perfume rises.

Copy: At Rasasi, the science of perfume is also a labour of love. Which is why we must hand pick our delicate jasmines before the sun rises, or risk losing as much as 20% of thier precious fragrance in value. For those who want the world's best perfumes, the sun never sets on Rasasi.

Rasasi - Irrestible.

** The visual of a jamsine(?) in soft focus.. I find the copy is bit confusing.. the headline gives an impression that dedicated Rasasi gives topmost priority to keep the quality of the Jasmine perfume. Compromise on time, may result in loss of that authentic fragrance, eventually creates scarcity in the market, and a price hike. ( it also connotes, they are fullfledged, with it's state-of-the-art facilities to get volume every day)

The copy part goes in a different direction.. But I liked the last line.. how it's been derived from the sun element...

Still, as a reader, I am not fully satisfied.. something "lingering on air".....comprehension problem(?)

its about how the brand is committed. The last line I guess puts the above copy in a nutshell and in perspective...read the last line first and you will get it. In order to bring the fullest fragrance, the flowers are picked up early in the morning....the implication is that, or inference to the reader should be, that Rasasi is natural perfume. The price rise is mentioned to make the consumer understand that Rasasi knows about this nature's fact and so they wake up early to save the consumer's 20%

Out door Advertising

Fruits Obsession

* Nice creative route, but I was obsessed with the lady in that.. couldn't find the fruits in her hand. 'Focus shift'....(?).

2. OTS value (opportunity to see) of this colour combination is very low for an outdoor advertising. (just an opinion)

Eyes OFF at 12.30.
